Joint Commission Visit of ACTSI/Egleston Pediatric Research Center
The Joint Commission visited the new ACTSI Pediatric Research Center at Egleston for the first time on the May 13. The visit included a tour of the unit; an interview with the nurse manager, a research subject, and family; and assessment of a patient record and family and staff educational materials. The family gave very positive feedback about their experience and the surveyor identified no deficiencies on the unit. The ACTSI would like to congratulate the research center staff on the successful visit and look forward to continued success.
