Georgia CTSA Investigators Honored as Health Care Heroes
Congratulations to Roxana Chicas, PhD, RN, and Nadine Rouphael, MD, selected as 2022 Health Care Heroes by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Dr. Chicas was recognized as the Rising Star honoree for increasing research inclusiveness through engagement and empowerment of farmworker communities. Receiving the Innovator-Researcher award, Dr. Rouphael was honored for organizing and overseeing COVID-19 prevention and therapeutic clinical trials.
