Georgia CTSA Leaders Named as 2020 Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors

Three of Georgia CTSA’s leaders, Andrés J. García, PhD, Principal Investigator; Lanny S. Liebeskind, PhD, Advisor; and David S. Stephens, MD, Advisor and Principal Investigator for the first 10 years as ACTSI; have been named a 2020 fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, the highest professional distinction accorded to academic inventors. They are among 175 new fellows who collectively hold more than 4,700 U.S. government-issued patents.
