Yerkes Annual Call for Pilot Research Projects-Due April 8

The Yerkes National Primate Research Center is seeking proposals for new pilot research projects that will be funded from the upcoming year of the P51 base grant. These awards will provide one year of support, up to $70,000 in direct costs. Although the awards are open to all investigators, the ORIP guidelines require the direct involvement of a Yerkes scientist, either as PI or sponsor (with another qualified scientist leading the conduct of the project). Applications from early career investigators and applications that propose translational research projects are encouraged.

NIDDK Program Projects (P01)

This FOA invites submission of investigator-initiated program project applications. The proposed programs should address scientific areas relevant to the NIDDK mission including diabetes, selected endocrine and metabolic diseases, obesity, digestive diseases and nutrition, and kidney, urologic and hematologic diseases, as well as new approaches to prevent, treat and cure these diseases, including clinical research.

CTSA Survey from the Lifespan: Early Life Exposure Workgroup

The following survey was created by the Clinical & Translational Science Award (CTSA) Lifespan Domain Task Force, Early Life Exposures Work Group. The goal of this survey is to collect data on various assets including databases, biorepositories, cohorts, etc. that are present at each of the CTSA hubs, as well as, other identified entities. This is a brief survey that should only take 10 minutes and the results will assist in promoting cross-collaborations across the CTSAs interested in exploring questions of early life exposure in childhood and later outcomes.
