Institute for People and Technology
Established in 2011, the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT) is a network of world-class academic researchers and industry innovators collaborating on groundbreaking research that aims to transform complex societal enterprises. IPaT focuses on catalyzing GA Tech's research activities that specifically pursue transformations in the fields of media, education, healthcare and humanitarian systems. IPaT engages the GA Tech community and industry partners in comprehensive leadership goals through: its investments in unique research platforms, living laboratories and datasets, partnership with the Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2) and through alignment with the many current research activities on campus.
