Health Systems Institute
The Georgia Tech/Emory University Health Systems Institute (HIS) was created in 2005 as a multi-institutional and interdisciplinary initiative. HSI brings together the expertise of many disciplines at Georgia Tech and Emory to enable the development and implementation of novel collaborative research, education and outreach programs. The goal is to transform healthcare delivery systems and lead the nation away from an ineffective, reactive, disease-focused system to achieve a cost-effective, pro-active, health and wellness-focused system.
