The Health Information Technology Sector: Past, Present and Future-November 9
GA Tech’s Institute of People and Technology (IPaT) hosts Dr. Doug Fridsma, director of the Office of Standards & Interoperability at the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health IT. Dr. Fridsma will give an overview of the nation's health IT landscape, provide an update on current activities supporting the country's widespread adoption of health IT and discuss future prospects for the country's health IT infrastructure, including his thoughts on areas with strong career potential. The talk and reception will be held from 3:00-5:30 p.m. in GA Tech’s Klaus Building, Room 1116.
