Bio-behavioral approaches may be biomedical, or they may consist of behavioral interventions usingbiological markers of efficacy. Sociocultural appropriateness involves, application of knowledge of the norms, beliefs and values of potential research subjects in varied contexts, and an appreciation of culture.
