Emory to Use $6.6M to Study Parkinson's Disease
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will award Emory more than $1 million each year for the next five years as of last month in order to support the Morris K. Udall Center of Excellence in Parkinson’s Disease Research. According to Emory Associate Professor of Neurology, Yerkes National Primate Research Center researcher, and ACTSI investigator Thomas Wichmann, the grant will help "further the mission" of clinical research on Parkinson’s disease.
