New Translational Science Journal
The AAAS/Science is launching a new journal, Science Translational Medicine, which will provide a forum for scientists and physicians to exchange research results and ideas, with the goal of improving clinical medicine. The journal will showcase basic science advances to make headway toward enhancing the practice of clinical medicine or provides new insights from the practice of medicine that may open new avenues of basic investigation. We aim to create an interdisciplinary forum to highlight knowledge gained from genetic and molecular biological analysis of human physiology and disease as well as from engineering, computational and materials science, chemistry, and bioinformatics. Feel welcome to send your next significant translational research result(s) to Science Translational Medicine. The manuscript submission site is now open, and is accepting papers for consideration at www.submit2scitranslmed.org. The journal can publish full-length research papers, with 6-8 figures and an option to add additional supplementary material.
