Dr. Gibbons Receives NIH Grant
Morehouse School of Medicine's Dr. Gary H. Gibbons of ACTSI's Research Education, Training & Career Development (RETCD) program, Community Engagement & Research Program (CERP), and Translational Technologies (TTR) program received a grant from the NIH to fund genome-wide studies of epigenetic changes, - chemical modifications to genes that result from diet, aging, stress, or environmental exposures - define and contribute to specific human diseases, and biological processes.
