Xuebiao Yao, PhD, Professor in the Department of Physiology at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), works on chromosomal segregation during cell division and what goes wrong during tumorigenesis. With new agent development support from the ACTSI and co-funding from the MSM Research Centers in Minority Institutions' (RCMI) G20 grant, Dr. Yao, along with his collaborative team at Emory and MSM, have identified new microtuble and signal transduction pathways as drug targets -
