ACTSI MSCR Student Named First Fellow in Primary Lateral Sclerosis


Congratulations to Christina Fournier, MD, a first-year student in the ACTSI Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) degree program, for receiving The Virginia Freer-Sweeney Clinical Research Training Fellowship in Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS). Dr. Fournier is an ALS Neurologist at the Emory ALS Center. Fournier received a $200,000, two-year grant. She will develop and work on a clinical research project in primary lateral sclerosis under the guidance of a mentoring committee.
