Scientific Review Committee
The program has framed a process to enable investigators to initially explore new domains of clinical and translational science. By facilitating the “first steps” needed to initiate new clinical and translational research projects, PiCoTraCS inspires investigators to create “new tracks,” promoting larger and deeper impressions with collaborative teams and new approaches. The overarching principle guiding the PiCoTraCS program is the stewardship of seed funds to expand the cadre of patient-oriented researchers. The PiCoTraCS expert review panels are committed to identifying individuals or teams of investigators who are using the best approaches to address important public health problems.
