Andrew West graduated from Emory University in 1993 with a history major and an English minor. After graduation, he began working full-time for Wesley Woods, the geriatric and chronic care wing of Emory Healthcare. During his time with Wesley Woods, Andrew obtained an MBA and MHA from Georgia State University. He then left Wesley Woods to work as a consultant for BDO Seidman, LLP. After two years of consulting, he returned to Emory University to manage finances and research administration for the Department of Pathology. In March of 2008, West assumed the Center Administrator, Sr. role of the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute.

Sidnee Nicole Paschal Young earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University. In 1998, she began her career in research administration at Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. in Washington D.C. In 2003, she progressed to academic research administration, joining Emory University as a Financial Analyst in the School of Medicine. In 2005, she completed the requirements to become a Certified Research Administrator and expanded her role in the School of Medicine Dean's Office. In March of 2008, she joined the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute as the Director of Finance.

Elizabeth Pittman Thompson graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree, majoring in Public Relations. She began her communications career as the Advancement Coordinator for the Atlanta College of Art at the Woodruff Arts Center. In 2005 she progressed to Oglethorpe University where she served as the Media Relations Manager. In August 2008, Thompson joined Emory University and the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute as the Director of Communications.

Rondereo Sidney graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Prior to joining Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), Sidney worked in various roles for the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc. (ABC) in the Continuing Education, Development, and Member Services departments. He was honored as the 2003-2004 ABC Employee of the Year. Currently, he works at MSM, as the Program Manager for the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute (ACTSI), a collaborative effort with Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine and Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also the co-author of the book, Why Children Should Know Their Grandparents.

Martha Willis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. She is a retired Naval Reserve Officer and worked in sales and marketing roles in industry (Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies and GE Healthcare) for 15 years. She is currently employed as a Program Manager for a number of different translational research initiatives at Georgia Tech and became the Program Manager for the ACTSI in January 2013.
